The Katholische Stiftungshochschule München University of Applied Sciences (KSH Munich) is a nationally and internationally highly regarded university for social, health, nursing, and pedagogical professional under church sponsorship. At both its university locations in Benediktbeuern and Munich, it offers some 2,500 students a well-founded and at the same time practice-oriented course of studies. The professors, administrative staff and the more than 300 lecturers ensure dedicated professional and personal support.
There are three faculties at the Katholische Stiftungshochschule München University of Applied Sciences:

• Faculty of Health and Nursing

Katholische Stiftungshochschule München
Das Institut für Fort- und Weiterbildung (IF) ist ein etabliertes Fortbildungsinstitut in den Bereichen Soziale Arbeit, (früh-)kindliche Bildung & Erziehung, Religionspädagogik und Pflege. Es arbeitet standortübergreifend und bietet akademische Fort- und Weiterbildungen sowie berufsbegleitende Weiterbildungsstudiengänge an. Dabei wird ein großer Wert auf Praxisanbindung und Wissenschaftsorientierung gelegt: die Tagungen, Kongresse oder Seminare werden in enger Kooperation mit Trägern aus der Sozialen Arbeit und aus den Pflege- und Gesundheitsberufen durchgeführt. Die GastrednerInnen und DozentInnen aus Lehre, Wissenschaft und Praxis zeichnen sich durch ihre einschlägige Expertise aus und sind Teil eines stabilen Netzwerkes aus Kooperationspartnern und Referenten, das sich das IF aufgebaut hat, um einen hohen Qualitätsstandard zu garantieren.
